We want to extend a heart-felt THANK YOU to our SPONSORS for their commitment in making this event a success! It was the vision of The Light Foundation, the hard work of the Gauntlet Team, the commitment of volunteers, and the financial generosity of our Sponsors, that made the Gauntlet 2016 one to remember! We had over 370 adult runners, 100 kid runners, and lots of spectators who enjoyed the event.
What a successful Gauntlet we had this summer! The runners and spectators, thoroughly enjoyed the 2016 Gauntlet. This was the first year of bringing the race back to the camp site at Chenoweth Trails and it was a huge hit! The commitment of our volunteers made our event possible! Their contribution helped make it a success and help raise the bar for future events. The Gauntlet team is looking forward to planning another awesome Gauntlet in 2017.
Thank you to our 2016 Volunteers for the commitment in making this event a success! Racers and spectators raved about how kind and helpful the volunteers were. We are truly grateful to have such wonderful volunteers and look forward to your support in 2017.

Looking for 2017 Volunteers
"Dayton Power & Light is proud to be a Title Sponsor of The Gauntlet 2012-2016 Thank you for your flawless organization of the event and for taking such good care of our competitors.” Community Relations Coordinator “Kudos to an amazingly organized and fun race! This was my second year participating and this year was even better than the last. From start to finish the process went smoothly. … The course had even more obstacles this year and they were challenging and fun! The 2 people I brought with me both commented on how this was the most organized race they have ran (both have done multiple races and many mud runs) and that the after party was so much fun and offered the best variety of food. We were treated like royalty for being the major sponsor and it felt nice to be appreciated! I am glad to be part of an organization that is able to support events like The Gauntlet, it was a very deserving cause!”
